About McKenney Home Care
For over a decade, McKenney Home Care has provided private-duty home care services throughout Southwest Florida. As a family-owned agency, we are committed to helping seniors remain safe, comfortable, and supported in their own homes through compassionate, reliable, one-on-one care.
We are currently seeking an experienced Male HHA or CNA for a private-duty client in the Naples area.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
- Provide safe wheelchair assistance and ensure wheelchair brakes are locked during transfers and care.
- Assist with meals, hydration, and safe meal routines according to client needs.
- Provide medication reminders only; no medication administration.
- Observe and report changes in client condition to the office or nursing team.
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
- Provide companionship, conversation, and supportive engagement.
- Accompany client to appointments or outings as needed.
- Follow the client’s care plan and instructions from supervisors and licensed clinical staff.
- Complete accurate documentation through the WellSky app.
Required Qualifications
- HHA, CNA, or experienced caregiver preferred.
- Hands-on care experience required.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Hands-on CPR certification, or willingness to complete.
- TB test within the last 6 months, or willingness to complete.
- Level 2 AHCA background screening, or willingness to complete.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English.
- Strong reliability, professionalism, empathy, and attention to safety.
