McKenney Home Care is currently hiring dependable Caregivers, HHAs, and CNAs for 12-hour day and overnight shifts throughout Sarasota and Charlotte County through our Venice office.
We are actively hiring caregivers with availability for:
- 12-hour day shifts
- 12-hour overnight shifts
- Weekend shifts
- Fill-in shifts and call-off coverage
- Ongoing client assignments when available
Private-duty schedules are based on client needs, caregiver availability, location, and experience. Hours are not guaranteed, but caregivers with flexible availability are often considered first for available shifts.
About the Role
Caregivers provide one-on-one support to clients in their homes while helping them remain safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Care may include personal care, companionship, mobility support, dementia care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and other non-medical assistance based on the client’s care plan.
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving experience required
- HHA certificate, CNA license, or strong hands-on caregiving experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required
- Current hands-on CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
- TB test within the last 6 months or chest X-ray within the last 5 years
- Eligibility for Level 2 AHCA background screening https://info.flclearinghouse.com
- Reliable, patient, professional, and able to communicate clearly
